Meet Naomi Moss, Content Queen and Instructor Dream
Married 33 years with 4 children (3 are married) and two grandchildren, life has always been an adventure for Naomi. Over 20 years ago, while homeschooling her children, she found a creative outlet in freelance writing. What started as writing feature articles in a local magazine eventually evolved into writing about her experiences in the firearms industry and other topics. As a subject matter expert in firearms training, Naomi was able to bring a voice to a community that sees very few women.
Interested in pursuing writing more formally, Naomi obtained her BS in Business Marketing, with honors in 2005. Because of the advancements in search engines, she obtained a nanodegree from Udacity to supplement the digital side of marketing. Naomi is always seeking ways to stay up to date on the latest marketing techniques.
Naomi entered the wonderful world of competition shooting in 2010. The same passion that first drove her writing, now had a new focus—firearms! Her first instructor certification in 2012 lead to the founding of Greenhorn Outfitter in California. The business thrived and retained repeat clients through the years. Now settled in central Washington under a new name, Greenhorn Training and Consulting, quality instruction continues. Naomi can pass her knowledge in firearms safety, tactics and personal protection to the range and through writing.
Experience is paramount. Naomi has over 400 hours of training in instructor classes, weapon manipulations, law enforcement and first aide. Some of her website copy include product descriptions for holsters, blogs for health care and web pages for roofing companies, solar, and autism facilities. In addition to web copy, Naomi also has experience with social media management for real estate, IT and healthcare industries.
